RFL Friends Meeting Minutes
The Minutes of their September 7th meeting.
At this time the following are committees and committee chairs:

- Projects: There was talk about purchasing additional Library Museum Passes
- Events: The Friends will sponsor a spring “cocktail” theme party. Suggested possible dates: April 21, 2018…possible place: Sacred Heart School. Needed: a chair and volunteers. Theme: An Arbor Day tie in [the town of Riverton will host the New Jersey state Arbor Day celebration on April 27, 2018.]
- Riverton town holiday celebration on December 2, 2017: Friends will sell cookies in the Library. The Historical Society will decorate the Library.

RFL Association Fall Board Meeting
The Riverton Free Library is holding its fall board meeting at the library on Monday, September 25th at 7:30 PM.
Join them to hear the progress they have made during the past year as well as discuss plans for next year’s budget. We value your input, so please join us!

The Riverton Library Garden is in need of a Fall Clean-Up plus some planning for “Spring Refreshing”.
Are you interested in making the garden into a little jewel for all our Library visitors to enjoy? If so, bring your garden gloves and your favorite trowel and join us on

Friends of the Riverton Free Library

All are welcome to the next meeting of the Friends of the Riverton Free Library, to be held on Thursday, September 7th at 7 PM, in the adult fiction section of the library.
The RFL Friends have a long history of supporting our small but mighty library. They are responsible for fundraising events, such as the Candlelight House Tour and the Cocktail Social, as well as other fun projects that enhance our building
They are setting this year’s agenda and hope you and any of your friends or acquaintances can join us.
