A Message from the Director . . .
Some library users might have received a notification that their library cards needs to be renewed. If you received a message like that, do not worry. All active cards set to expire between today and March 30, 2021, have been extended to March 31, 2021.

The Riverton Free Library has changed it service hours. Please note:
Thanksgiving is now over — getting ready for the next holiday? Maybe need some wine to share? The Riverton Free Library Association can help!
You can still order your wine via Eventbrite (with it’s $3.46 fee per bottle) or by dropping off your check to the library. Each red or white wine bottle comes with an attractive, thermal wine carrier. Please order today and designate your choice of wine/s. Know that you are helping our library continue its service to the community.
Order pick up is Saturday, Dec. 5th between 4 and 7 P.M. at the library.
Without our favorite library to keep us busy with crafts, story hours, and games, and winter approaching (more indoor activities), it can be a challenge to keep bored children active and engaged. The New York Times’ Escape the Boredom Trap offered suggestions as to how to “reframe” their lack of enthusiasm for what has become a day-to-day weariness and whining into something more productive for them and for you.
