An article written by Peter Grantiz from NPR details the pitfalls that the attack on Ukraine could have on us. This article talks about prices surging even more, electric costs rising along with global market crashes that create a perfect storm.
The Riverton Library will have a book sale every Sunday this month (Mar. 6th, Mar. 13th, Mar. 20th, and Mar. 27th). The book sale will be from 1 to 3 pm and masks are required. One bag of books per person can be dropped off for donation.

On March 15th Rutgers Institute of Health will provide health screenings for adult seniors. This will be at the Riverton Library from 11 am to 1 pm. No registration is required.

NPR writer Scott Simon wrote an article about the boy who snuck his book on a library shelf in Lake Hazel. The librarians noticed the book and after thoroughly inspecting it decided to make it a permanent part of their collection. They have even partnered with Dillion to run workshops for other inspiring writers!
NPR’s Rachel Triesman, wrote an article about an Instagram account called “My Old Books”. This account focus on vintage books or older classical books that people have since forgotten the names of. The Instagram account crowdsources for the information and eventually reunites readers with their beloved childhood books.
