We are looking forward to meeting your pets and companion animals under the tent at Memorial Park at 3:30 PM on July 4th.

Cats, dogs, chickens, fish, Guinea pigs, hermit crabs, and more!  Add your best friend to the list of Riverton’s finest.  Ribbons and certificates of achievement, gift cards and prizes for the biggest/smallest, busiest/laziest . . .

See you at 3:30 PM in the park!

NEEDED! Treasure Day Volunteers

Are you a high schooler in need of service hours?  We have an easy project for you that would be a great service to the Riverton Free Library.

This Saturday, May 11th is the town-wide Treasure Day, and the library needs help with its book sale.  Can you spare an hour or two to help sell our book donations?  We need volunteers from 8 AM until we close at 3 PM, as well as help to return unsold books to the library basement at 3 PM.

If you can help, please contact the library either at our new volunteer email address, rivertonfreelibraryvolunteer@gmail.com or by calling the library’s phone number, 829-2476.  Be sure to leave your name, phone number, and hours that you can work.  Bring a friend to help, too, and make it a fun day!

Join our community for its annual Treasure Day sale!  The library will be selling its gently-used books at 8 AM on Saturday, May 11th.  Pick up a few good reads at great prices!

Board of Trustees Meeting

The Riverton Free Library Association Board of Trustees are having their spring meeting on Monday, April 22nd at 7:30 PM in the library’s Fiction Room.

On the agenda will be the results of this year’s annual Cocktail Social, the progress with the 2019 Annual Appeal, as well a programs and other upcoming events.

Friends of the Riverton Free Library

Hello Friends of the Riverton Free Library,

There will be a Friends meeting on Monday, April 15th at 7:00 PM at the library.  The agenda will include:  Cocktail Social wrap-up, garden status, book sale update (including selling books outside the library on Treasure Day, May 11th), future direction and projects, any new concern and/or ideas.
A special thanks once again to JoAnn Costigan and Jo Horton, co-chairs for the Disco Party fundraiser…and the $6000+ profit!
Please try to make this meeting if you can.  We do not have many meetings and your input is a direct link to the success of the Friends of the Library.  We welcome new members!!
