Unique in Burlington County, we are both a library that is managed by a not-for-profit volunteer association as well as a branch of the Burlington County Library System

The web site is proudly sponsored by the Riverton Free Library Association

The Very Long Book Group

Ready to get involved with a book long-term? Join us as we tackle 500+ pagers together, in real life-compatible installments of a couple hundred pages at a time. We are currently reading The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton. This month we will be discussing pages 1-256. Stop by Riverton Library for a copy of the book while supplies last.

This program is hosted by BCLS Library Staff on June 17th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Outdoor Fun and Games

Summer is on its way, and it’s a great time to be outside! Drop by and join us on the Riverton Library lawn for fun, games, and art projects.

Best for ages 6-9 but all children are welcome.

This program is presented by library staff on June 17th from 3 to 4:30 pm!

Parenting and Paperbacks

Want to chat with other parents about the parenting book you just read? Are you looking for a place to discuss the joys and difficulties of raising kids? Join us for Parenting and Paperbacks!

We will be talking about a specific topic, and you are invited to read a book (or two) and come ready to add to the conversation. If you don’t have the opportunity to read a book, come for the discussion anyway!

For this meeting, we’ll be talking about raising kids with family values, beliefs, and ethics. Books on this topic include Raising Good Humans; The 5 Principles of Parenting; Family Values: Reset Trust, Boundaries and Communication with Your Child; The Me, Me, Me Epidemic; Mamaleh Knows Best; Strong and Kind; The Religions Book; Talk with Your Kids: 109 Conversations about Ethics and Things that Really Matter; How to Be Perfect: The Correct Answer to Every Moral Question; Beyond: How Humankind Thinks about Heaven; Hope for Cynics; A Faith Like Mine; Raising Freethinkers; A Kids Book about God; Fourteen Talks by Age Fourteen; How to Raise an Antiracist; What Do You Believe?
