Parenting and Paperback

Want to chat with other parents about the parenting book you just read? Are you looking for a place to discuss the joys and difficulties of raising kids? Join us for Parenting and Paperbacks!

We will be talking about a specific topic, and you are invited to read a book (or two) and come ready to add to the conversation. If you don’t have the opportunity to read a book, come for the discussion anyway!

For this meeting, we’ll be talking about milestones. Books on this topic include Mom Milestones: The True Story of the First Seven Years; The Wonder Years; The Parenting Map; The Wonder Weeks; Caring For Your Baby and Young Child; The Confident Parent; Baby 411; The Sears Baby Book; The Science of Mom; Talking Baby: Helping Your Baby Discover Language; The Whole Brain Child; Ages and Stages; What’s Going On In There: How the Brain and Mind Develop; Baby-Led Weaning; Feeding Littles and Beyond; The Happiest Baby on the Block; The Good Sleeper; The Complete Guide to Potty Training; and The First Time Parent’s Guide to Potty Training.

We welcome kids to come along with their grownups. We’ll lay out some toys, but you are responsible for your child while in the library.
