For this meeting, we’ll be talking about taking trips and making memories. Books on this topic include How to Celebrate Everything, Art of Making Memories, Memory Lane: The Perfectly Imperfect Ways We Remember; Why We Remember; Remember: The Science of Memory; Traveling Different; National Geographic Bucket List Family Travel; and The Travel Book.

We welcome kids to come along with their grown-ups. We’ll lay out some toys, but you are responsible for your child while in the library.

Join the Star Tracers of the Riverton Library as we use a telescope to explore the night sky! We will be outside so please dress warmly.

All ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Join us for fun stories, activities, and a craft! We focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun! Preschool Storytime is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends.

Take on our LEGO® building challenge! We provide the prompts, you provide the creativity. Creations can be displayed in the children’s room at the Riverton library!

Children will be given a specific theme or goal to create a project either separately or together. Building with LEGO® supports skill building and problem solving for children. All LEGO® bricks will be provided by the library. Please do not bring in LEGO® bricks from home.

This is best for kids 6-9, but all children are welcome.
