Libraries Rock this Summer!
This year’s summer reading theme is “Libraries Rock”. The Riverton Library has many exciting programs for children and teens to enjoy this summer. There will be magicians, arts & crafts, musicians and even the Lizard Guys! Teens are invited to take over the library on Mondays with various craft programs and a music themed movie marathon. The full calendar of events is available on the BCLS website. Registration is required for some of the programs and can be done online or by calling the library.
Participants in the summer reading program can track their reading on Beanstack through our website or by downloading the free app. Children 5 and under can earn a prize by reading 10 books and children 6-12 earn a prize after reading 3 books. Teens have a special activity card that when completed will enter them in a grand prize drawing. Teens also get a prize or raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing for every book that they read.
There is a lot happening at the library this summer and we hope to see you soon.
