The Board of Trustees last convened in April. At this meeting, the Board approved the purchase of ten (10) folding chairs, to be used in our public meeting space/Used Book Sale area in the basement, and approved $200 to be spent to purchase books that coordinate with flannel stories used for Story Hour. Final preparations were made for “Cinco de Mayo” in May, and preliminary outlines drawn for the Christmas House Tour on December 3rd.
This past spring, the roof of our building was replaced. Come September, outside repairs will be made, and the library freshly painted. The building maintenance and capital improvements that you see, are largely funded, thanks to you, our patrons, through the Annual Appeal, memorial contributions, and donations.
Each member of the Board of Trustees takes our responsibility to you, and how our funds are spent, seriously. We thank you for your continued support of our library, and strive to be a friend to our communities.
