Attention Kids & Teens!! Summer Reading is at the Riverton Free Library!

The Summer Reading Program is always an exciting time at the library!  This year’s theme is “A Universe of Stories” and it promises to be an out of this world experience!  We’ve got lots of exciting performers lined up including The Magic of Ran D’Shine, Swedes in Space, Bugs on the Go and Mad Science.   Check the library website for a complete list of performers, or the BCLS Online Event Calendar.

The summer reading program is all about keeping kids interested in reading during the break from school.  Children are encouraged to record the books that they read on Beanstack which is accessible on the BCLS library website or downloadable as an app.  Children 5 and under will earn a prize after reading 10 books and children 6 to 12 earn a prize after reading 3 books.  Beanstack lets the child know when it is time to stop by the library to collect a prize.  Speaking of prizes, check out the prize shelf at the Riverton Library.

We are prepared for all the awesome readers in our town.

The Summer Reading Program is for teens too.  Teens can stop by the library to pick up an activity card.  Teens earn prizes with each completed column on their card.  The Riverton Library is also hosting a Board Game night and Astrology program just for teens.

We look forward to seeing you at the library!
