Tombola.  The New Oxford American Dictionary defines it as “a game in which people pick tickets out of a revolving drum and certain tickets win immediate prizes.”  The Riverton Free Library Association defines it as an opportunity for participants to win wonderful prizes, donated to benefit the library — and make its Cocktail Social even more exciting!

Join us on Saturday, May 7th at our annual fete, to be held at Sacred Heart Church from 7 – 11 PM.  Our theme, Cinco de Mayo!  Dance to rock music, performed by Friends, enjoy free drinks, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and desserts, sponsored by Juanita’s, for the price of your admission ticket ($40 in advance, $50 at the door).

Among this year’s tombola donations, you might win bread for a year from Panera, groceries from Shop Rite, pizza from Dominoes or Nick’s, beautiful artwork, a photo session by Gary Horn, dining cards from Cafe Madison or Zia’s Tuscan Grill, a beach basket of goodies, a family package at Elite Climbing, a 3-month membership at Riverton Health & Fitness, a carved table, donated by Sherry’s Furniture, a Ron Jaworski jersey, a lovely woman’s watch, donated by Anthony Jewelers, or a haircare gift certificate from Hush Salon.  Many, many more fantastic and generous gifts are ready to be won at this year’s tombola!

Tombola tickets are 25 tickets for $20, 50 tickets for $30 (please note correction from earlier post!).  Hope to see you!
